Practical life exercises help the child to be step by step more independent in routine activities, taking care of himself and his surroundings.
They also practice fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination, and exercises promoting self-care: buttoning, grooming, eating.
The Montessori method leads the child to systematicity, orderliness, calmness and better concentration.
